Just saying hello!

I live in the NE corner of Missouri just a mile from the big river. I'm looking forward to getting some tips on how to make the most of living so close to it. I have very little experience fishing rivers.

I was down at the river on Sunday but came up empty handed. Some folks at work said the water is cold still in the river and the action picks up later there than in the lakes. I guess I'll see.
