decided to go hit my spot on the springs for maybe some big bass or catfish or really any thing that wanted to bite. got there at around 1230 since we tried AFBH first with no fish to show for it. started right were the spring starts in about a foot of water and imediatly caught a small sunfish. moved down a little more where the jordan meets up with the clear water from the spring and gets about 3 foot deep. tossed little jigs and ice flies under slip bobbers, you had to throw it almost right in the reeds and then me and my dad started catching nice 8 and 9 inch gills but there were a few small ones too. decided to switch up to a senko for some bassin and i managed 1 LMB under 12 and my dad caught to othere LMB under twelve aswell.. hmmmm i guess the big boys havent moved up there yet this year. we fished for 2 more hours with lots of sunfish and my dad managed 1 decent sized crappie in there aswell. i give that spot a few more weeks and alot more fish should start showing up in it.
befroe we left i was doing my last cast on this steep bank, about a five foot drop when the whole shore collapsed on me and i took a wet drink in the springs, not very fun at all. it was kinda scary too i was pretty stuck in the mud and if i was by myself i probly wouldnt have been able to get out, but atleast it was a warm bath instead of a cold one.

Thats cool man, im new to the area and i tried to fish the jordan where i live at 4700 south in murray the other day, but i think its too polluted and dont know if there is fish around this area. Where do you all fish on the jordan?

i fish mostly the jordan from point of the mountain to UL the most but ive actually done decent on like 9000 south for catfish and WB if they are in the area.
