Fished LD the other day. Only had 2 hours of actual fish time available to me. Ended up with 14 or 15 (you know how it goes when the fishin is good). All on a ghost pointer. A couple of really nice males in prespawn colors. I used my Contour head video cam, I'll see if I can download acouple short clips.

Thanks for the report troutcreek, we were fishing there just the other day. LD is one of my favorite cutthroat fisheries...something about the colors white, clear, orange and gold works really well there when throwing crankbaits and Kastmasters. I was gonna head up there this afternoon before I read your post, so lets see how good I can do up there. Were you fishing in the morning or late afternoon? Something about 2hrs before sunset makes those fish really hungery. Can't wait to see the video....and fish with you this spring/summer at that lake we always chat about.

i love that lake!!! its getting about time for me too go up there in my tube and get after the bruiser cuttys on my fly rod. maybe it already has picked up. i havent fished it since january on the hard deck. thanks for the reporr

i iced it once this year and caught six on live forage minnows in glow perch color. that was the first time ive ice fished it.

Great job on the LD. Just waiting for mountain dell creek to open so I can chalenge the brookie that got off the hook last fall.
