Bite is good and getting better. I ran 7 trips in 5 days on the water this past week. The Hybrids are up in the water early morning and late evening and they will bite if you have the right bait, and I aint talking livebait. Spro McStick 110s and Flukes rigged on 3/16 Spotstickker jig heads are producing. I've had 2 huge Hybrids (caught by clients) the past 7 days including Rick Graham's 14.80 which was the lake record by a long shot and Dr Mike Starks also boated a giant Hybrid topping the 14lb mark on my boat last week, both fish were caught using the McStick. Congrats to both guys for weighing, picturing, and releasing the fish while it still had plenty of life.

The Spotted Bass are starting to make some noise as well. I've had good numbers days the last week using Jerkbaits, Spotstickers, and small Crankbaits fishing in or around spawning areas. Check out the 5+lb Spot I boated while finishing up a sonar trip w/ my client yesterday evening. Followed by another huge Hybrid moments later. These fish are grouped together big time, the big Spot had a 20lb+ Striper with it the entire time until I lipped her, cool stuff. Gotta love springtime!

Please make plans to attend our Sonar/Side Imaging/Structure Scan Seminar this Friday at 7pm at Pro Lures in Dalton. Adam Broughton (former Engineer/Product Manager with Humminbird) has put together a great power-point presentation with a ton of slides and interpretation stuff, and we'll go in detail on all setup related issues as well. We're providing food/drinks and have some free gear to give away as well so please come see us. Looking forward to meeting more of the CFF crew. This is everything Sonar/Side Imaging/GPS from settings to interpretation we want everyone to learn how to get the most out of their electronics on the water. Â Please PM me if you are planning on attending as we're trying to keep a head count as best we can. Â

I'm booked all next week but Bill can take anyone, any day and we still have Wednesday and Thursday open if anyone is interested in getting out this week drop me a line and we'll take care of ya. This is a great time to bring a friend and wack some big fish so give me a call.

LB
