i know i fish just about only for trout and i do very well just woundering how often others go out and get skunked i know for trout its not often for me i have been skunked once in..... well i dont want say everyone would just call me a lier i just say years but rockport got me this year 4 hour no fish how often does evey one else get that stink and what are the worse lakes for it ( and i fish the berry about twice a week )

Willard can be a beast!! the last two years have been better for me since i have been able to spend more time and figure things out but in years past willard has had me smelling skunky!
Pineview for the Tigers can get a skunk aroma too but those toothy beasts are a lil dfifferent and are worth the skunky trips...

It's a pretty rare thing. The only time I usually get skunked is if I jump the gun and try bass fishing too early. Last year I hit one when the water was 44, which is usually warm enough for me to coax one or two into biting, but it was way murky. That was my skunk for last year. This year I've just been stream fishing for trout so far, and they've been pretty good to me.

I second willard. Hyrum for bass and bear lake can be tough. I've been skunked out in the cutlar marsh more times than I care to remember but like wildcat said the wait is worth it when your chasing beasts.

thats just trout i get my share of the stink on other fish i tried all winter to get a walleye on the ice with no luck

BEAR LAKE CAN BE SKUNK CITY IF ILL TIMED BUT CAN ALSO BE SOME OF THE BEST TROUT FISHING IVE EVER SEEN SO I RISK IS WORTH THE REWARD USUALLY UNLESS THE WINDS PICK UP THEN ITS NOT
