As the sun was coming up this morning, it looked like it was going to be a beautiful day.
So I thought to myself, might as well go fishing.
Started out fishing in Island Creek where I caught several crappie and a walleye.
Then ran down to Bat Creek stopping at four or five different spots. Picked up several more crappie, two small mouth, one channel cat, and a couple of blue gills.
Hit a couple of pockets here and there then headed on to Bakers Creek where I found the crappie as shallow as three feet in sixty seven degree water. Picked up one nice crappie on some PVC cover I had never seen before.
Guess that PVC stuff really does work for crappie.
Next thing I know I was starting to get wet. Rain? What? I must have missed that forecast.
Got fairly wet before I made my way up under a bridge to wait it out.
The clicker showed 46 crappie caught so when the rain was over I just decided to head on in and call it a day.
So with the other walleye, blue gill, smallmouth, and catfish caught, that brought the talley to fifty two fish.
Brought ten good crappie home for the freezer.
