I am planning on going to Lake Powell with my wife, we will not eb in a boat, we are staying basically right at Wahweap Marina. I am just wondering what some of the good spots for fishing from shore are, and what to use. I have been told anchovies are a good idea to chum for Stripers. I just want some good tips for LMB, SMB, and Stripers. I know nothing about Lake Powell this will be my first trip ever.
Thanks in advance, PMs more than welcome.

Can't say it enough, go to WaynesWords.com to get ALL the current information on Powell.
I normally camp at lone rock and hike over to the cliffs, because it's deep. Catch some bass and catfish and an occasional walleye. Chovies work well when cold and solid, not so well when warm and squishy. Off the cliffs I use just a hook and no weight. If you're casting from shore use a slip weight system. Good luck

As soon as you cross the dam heading towards Page, Arizona take a left down a dirt road. It's called "the chains" if I'm remembering right. There is some shore access there that gets you near the dam and into deeper water for striper fishing. There is also some shallower bays that can hold some bass at certain times of the year. Hope this helps.

Would wahweap or bullfrog be better for shore fishing?

Here's a picture from the area Tracker Guy is talking about from 8 or 9 years ago. If you do decide to go over there keep in mind you'll need an Arizona stamp.

best areas for shore fishing is the Hite area. You have some good spots right at Hite, then down to Farley's, White, Blue Notch, and Red Canyon. All have access via roads, with Blue Notch and Red needing a 4X4. Again, check Waynes Words for the most comprehensive info.
In my personal opinion I rank it like this... Hite is the best, followed by Bullfrog, and then Wahweap. I also haven't spent as much time at Wahweap so my opinion is probably bias. Hite is hands down the best though! Go to Blue knotch, Farleys, or White Canyon and you won't be dissappointed. Rough road going in though so make sure you have 4 wheel drive.
