Ok, it's been a long time since I have posted on this page so I thought it's about time. A note... You can find our videos on youtube Flyfishingfamilybums...
We fished the Weber on the date posted and some luck on Rapala in size 6 and 7 in Brown. We use 9 foot drift rods so we can switch between flies if need be. The day was overcast, which I feel helped as we landed a few nice fish in the 17/18inch range and the big fish of the day was close to 20". My wife caught that one. So here are some pics...

Nice fish!
Looks like you and your wife had a good day. Did you catch anything with the fly and bubble. Never tried that but sounds like a good idea.[cool]

Hi Toadly,
We use a Cortland 9 foot noddle that allows use to use a very lite line, 2lb test. We also use a small barrel swivel with a 2lb leader about 2 foot with our main line being 6 pound. Our floats are small clear steel-head drift floats. You can see the rig on our Youtube video found at Flyfishingfamilybums. We also use ice-fishing floats as well, small. [fishin]
