I like to have the end of the rod sometimes under my armpit when fighting fish, as I like to take my time with them especially with my ultra light rods. Just sharing..Enjoy the mods.Its that time of year again so lets get ready!

First pic,is the cleanest look,I used the butt from an identical rod which had broke,only 7.99[shocked] [#008000]In this picture I'm pointing at the joint where I added the extra extension piece from a broken rod I had laying around.[/#008000]

2nd pic is another $8 rod a baitcaster,which I converted to a spinning rod and added some bamboo as a nice touch.[]

Last and not least is my ultra light,my berkley cherry wood 2-4 rod as you can tell I enjoy light action,its my passion now.I used an aluminum pipe,"hollow". Just like a fine wine, we get better with age Here is some rod testing we accomplished,

you should build your own rod, that way you can make what you want. that's why I build rods to get what I want. plus it's kinda fun and becomes a hobby.
