Hey guys,

Been hitting the Weber in the 12th street and 1900 west area on my lunch breaks. No luck on the flys but still trying whenever I get the chance. Any advice on good areas or equipment? Also looking for a good trout farm to take my 3 year old to for his first fishin trip. Want to make sure he catches something his first time out so he gets and stays excited about it. Any advise?

Thanks in advance.

There is a fish farm in North Ogden that I have taken kids to a few times. Well worth it IMO.

Just watch the stocking reports on the dwr website or follow on here with all the community pond 21 st, glassman, Roy pond there just as good as the trout pond a bobbed with a little hook and worm or whatever. My 6 year old little girl has a blast.

I agree with muskycoop, the coldwater trout farm is a great place to take kids as long as you you have plenty of $$$. The community ponds are good as well and you don't have to pay. As far as lunch time tackle on the weber, try rapalas or a jig with a crawler.
