Headed out of the Riverpark around 8am this morning. Wasn't expecting much after the storms went through last night. We stopped near downtown and fished the rip-rap throwing spinnerbaits and grubs. We caught good numbers and size. It seemed when the sun came out, the fish started biting. We had enough wind and current to keep us floating without having to use the trolling motor much. After floating through downtown, we ran to Moccasin Bend with high hopes. We threw spinnerbaits, grubs, jigs, crankbaits...with only 1 fish to show. We ran back upriver towards the dam and fished some more rip-rap before calling it a day. We loaded the boat back up around 12pm. We ended the day with 25 bass, 2 stripe, 1 monster bluegill, and 2 goggle eye.
