I've been checking the salmon counts daily gnawing my fingers and clawing my eyes.17 fish Wednesday and 21 yesterday.is it weird that this tiny little jump made my day?

No its not weird. I am stoked to finally see a few fish show up. I saw 2 yesterday on the cam which surprised me. They finally have started and should jump drastically with it being so late.

I think we all are. To date we are right in between 2005 and 2006 for fish over Bonne by now. In those years we had 26,000 - 28,000 fish over LG by the time the season was over.

If they hold off too much longer it will inevitably be a smaller return. It is getting late enough that even if a whole bunch do come it will only provide for good fishing for 3-5 days. Especially with the water situation we are facing this year.
