I just got home from the best day ever!!!! This years Stonefly Society (you know, the ones fighting for our rights on the rivers and other waters) was bigger and better.
Held at South Town this year. Two casting ponds, tons of vendors. and soooo many fellow BFTers I am so stoked at all this.
Prizes are awesome too. I ended up buying a Allen Reel and the new Allen ATS 9' 6 wt. Fantastic Mid Flex rod and PURDY redish.
Justin, I enjoyed your company all day long. And all you guys just so rock.. I am on cloud 9 right now.

Pretty much. Maybe more on the Fly Fishing board. KSL, TV, fly shops. Don't miss next years...LOL Gets better every year. This to me with all the vendors and the show prices is the way all shows shoud be, don't you all?

FG, I went today, had a great time but missed you. I went later in the day, a lot of the tyers left by the time I got there. I met you at the show two years ago. You tied a sculpin like fly for my son to use at Strawberry. Love the fly, love this show.

Thanks for the company today Joni! Much appreciated, love watching someone that actually knows how to tie! Amazing what you can learn in two hours of watching someone! Can't waiting to go build some fueled leaders to! I have got to fab me up a board like you got! Quality to say the least. Some other extremely good tiers were there as well. I was there for part of the day too. I was at the DWR booth for most of the afternoon. This was my first time at the fly expo and I really enjoyed myself. I met a lot of great people and now I'm intrigued by the world of fly fishing!

You mean Fly Fishers use different knots????? LOL I think I use two, but they both start with Surgeon's.

Oh, I was just razzin' her a bit! I ran into her one time when Dan at FishTech was teaching her a knot... I really don't use that many knots either. But there's a couple more I'd like to learn for specific situations for all types of fishing!

Hey Byron showed me a really cool loop knot, but then I showed him mine and he went Hmmmmm. LOL
Pick a knot or two that you feel comfortable with tying even with freezing fingers and you are good to go..[laugh]
