Thats right lurkers and members of BFT, you read the title correctly. This is the REAL lower bells reservoir report. Not some ridiculous wanna be post like the several that were posted yesterday. We received some PMs and as as phone calls asking us not to leave so returning by popular demand is the TyeDyeTwins....sorry tyedye haters but we are back...and more bad than ever. No more secret posts...no more sensitive waters....no more mercy folks.

Made the easy 0.6 mile hike up to the famous Lower Bells Reservoir early this morning. Got to the beautiful puddle just in time for the sunrise. Surprisingly no one had put up the “Welcome to the BFT Convention” banner yet. Guess the beauty queens of the BFT Northern Utah chapter needed their beauty sleep. Either that or they were busy watching their saturday morning cartoons. Having the place to myself I chose a spot at my leisure and began the day's slaughter...made sure not to bend the barbs on the hooks this time. If I could have added a treble hook or two to the flies I would have for this trip. Oh well maybe next time.

As you have seen in the REAL posts from the actual fishman who frequent the place, the cutthroats were wearing their best, showing off their brightest spawning colors, eager to take the fly from the even more eager fly fisherman. The action was on, it was just fish after fish saying hello to the camera for their moment of fame and glory. 23 Cutts for me and 30 each for my buddies John and Dan. Maybe they were biting because they knew that if they made this highly anticipated as well as high ratings post they would be famous forever? Eternal glory awaits you my lower bell cutty friends.

Lower Bells Reservoir. Where did all the water go?

Quite a few anglers got the skunk and most got around 4 fish each. We were the masters of that water today!

Looks like a good spot for my 4 y.o and a Barbie pole [Wink]
[signature]
Lol she probably has the same pole as the masters of the reservoir.

Where were you Stumpy, you said you'd be there. I would have let you cast with my barbie pole![sly]

Nah I decided it was to far of drive for small slimmers. I will let the "masters" keep catching them I will get the fish worth posting about.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Those Cutts sure are beautiful fish, though.

You guys should go fish the edges at Strawberry with your fly rods, throw some buggers, good fun.

Ice off was terrible for me last year. Although every year is a new year. The fly rod will always follow me on the fishing adventures. I think those cutts would be AWESOME on a fly rod! Holy cow is 5x tippet gonna break?
[signature]
5x would be fine (if your knots are good) or just get some 7.5' 4x leaders and you're golden.

Those cutts are sure pretty! Keep on keepin' on!

Masters of lower bells and Little Dell. Those waters are expert only type stuff. I'll stick to willow or sandy pond.

Oh - that's what it's all about. Has it been a day already? How time flies. It's good to see your "time-out" did some good and humbled your posting style and even teach a little respect toward fellow anglers and the fish themselves.

That's a lot of purdy little fish. I just tied up some fluffy purple and green buggers. Need to go pitch 'em at a big fat carp!
Ummmm..... Where did all the water go?.. Looks kinda creepy right now... Hahaha.. Awesome fish guys, we still need to fish together sometime, perhaps next weekend ( crossing my fingers for decent weather)...

Didn't pinch the barbs? Wish you would have added trebs? Way to take your (anger\embarasment???) out on the fish. You are a great sportsman.
