Made it down to Lake Powell 4-7-12.[fishin]
Was able to launch in Farley canyon, after doing some 4 -wheeling to get to the water.
Done good on Crappie, caught a few Bass and No Walleye yet.

Got any specific tips on catching crappie at LP? I've only fished for them where I can use live minnows and only know the basics about crappie fishing. Pm's are now currently being accepted [

We used 3 " White or Yellow curly-tail jigs, 1/8 oz. fished really slow.
Water still a little cold, found fish in about 15-20' of water.
Stained water a little warmer, than clear water.
2 weeks of warm weather = Excellent fishing.
Come on Sunshine.---NO WIND---Please.

Back of the canyons water was clear and colder.
Best fishing was more towards mid canyon in stained water.
Main channel is muddy.
As weather (water) warms fish will move shallower.
Hope to get back down.
Weather looks bad 11th --15th
18th--22nd should be Prime time.(Mine are crossed)
Not sure which boat I am taking yet but
Will be flyin my flag when we go.
Stop by if you see us.
We will camp in Farleys.
