Went up twice over the past week before this rain storm and did really well. I caught a dozen on saturday and another eight on monday. Most fish were in pre staging areas and suspended in 12-18 feet of water. All my fish were caught on lipless and regular crankbaits that dive to about 6 ft. It felt sooooo good to have some fight in my rod. All the fish were between 14-18" and ranged from 1pound to two pounds. Not huge fish but enought to get my arm ready for lake powell. It seemed that fluoro carbon line in the clear water proved to get more bites than the braid my buddy was using.
