Hit the riverpark around 5pm and immediately headed to my usual hunting grounds. Not pulling any water, and it appeared down. The fish normally in the shallower areas did not seem to be active, possibly due to the lower than expected water level. Headed to my second area and found them. Ended up 2.75 hours of fishing catching 34 spotted bass, 4 redeye bass, a gorgeous fat-bellied largemouth and a drum. The majority of the spotted bass ranged between 9-12 inches with a few over 15 inches. The three largest would have been no larger than two pounds each. The largemouth looked to be ready to burst, and measured a little over 19 inches long. I snapped a quick pic and got her back into the water asap.
All fish caught on lake fork craws and jackall sasuteki craws fished on 12 pound fluorocarbon with 1/0 Mustad hook and lft 3/16 ounce tungsten. Water temp stayed constantly between 66-67 degrees.
