A buddy and I went out to little Camas in his canoe at about 8 in the morning, we launched on the west side of the lake. He started out with a worm/ salmon egg combo, and I used a small blue fox spinner.
Within 20 minutes I had reeled in two nice fat rainbows. Things got a little bit slow so we went to the south part of the lake and my buddy hooked into 14 incher with a silver mepps. We were continually getting bumps and strikes, but were also getting a fair amount of weeds or moss on our spinners. We moved on a bit and I caught one more, then we went back to get lunch (we had to paddle across the lake in a vicious headwind[pirate])
After a slow couple of hours we rowed back to the south end of the lake, and had 2 hours of nonstop action on gold panther martins. We limited out and left at about 6:30. I think this has been one of the most successful, scenic trips I've been on in recent memory. I hope things are still good in two weeks so I can go again!
