Plenty of hungry calico and sand bass at the horseshoe kelp. Both the Victory and the Native Sun out of Long Beach Sportfishing have been doing very well on the bass every day. They have been fishing w/ live and fresh dead squid- The technique of choice for the calicos has been a 3/4 oz. leadhead with a fresh dead squid pinned on. There have also been some very nice sheephead being caught. They are also eating the squid.

It has been consistant bass fishing for the last 2.5 weeks!!! Come on down and pitch a bait!!!!

For Reservations please call (562)432-8993

Good luck fishing!!!

Milo

Hello,
Glad to hear there is some good fishing going on, Migeul, with the fish slowing a tad perhaps its time for the stealth anglers to work some magic. Any plans for an upcoming run?

[laugh] How about a good laugh?
http://www.bigfishtackle.com/comics.htm

Mike H
Mornin' All
As far as Castaic is concerned, with all the activities it's kind of hard to get a feel for what the bites like. I haven't watched the news much, is everything back to normal. Did you get Sharon Tay from channel 5 news autograph, she's my favorite? Are there some other areas that might be holding to tow your boat that might have a good bite?

There are two Romero's

Mike Romero - BOOYAA
Mark Romero - FISHERKING

Fisherking is my hero in that he is out fishing what looks to be about 3-5 times a week from Oceanside to Ventura.
