Anyone tried rockport from the bank recently, was wondering if its been any good.

i dont think so. stop at rafter b's and look at the board outside the store, i belive it is going until may?

I fished the East (State Park) side last Monday and had some action, but it was not fast and furious. Had quite a few bites and caught a limit in about 4 hours of fishing. Not huge, 12 to 14 inches about.

I was at Rockport on Friday and Saturday. I had no bites for the 4 hours I was there. Which is surprising. I'm pretty familiar with how to fish Rockport. I guess I just haven't yet tried what the fish want. Also, according to the DWR website, the tagged fish contest has been extended to May 31st.
