I WANT TO TAKE MY 3 BOYS FISHING EITHER TOMORROW OR FRIDAY. I WILL BE FISHING FROM THE BANK, ANY TIPS ON WHERE TO GO AND WHAT TO USE TO GIVE THE THE LITTLE GUYS A CHANCE TO CATCH SOMETHING WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. I USALLY FISH RIVERS, SO I'M CLUELESS. ALSO IS IT BETTER IN THE MORNING OR THE AFTERNOON?

THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ALL THAT REPLY, I REALLY APPRECIATE ALL THE HELP. THANK YOU

One thing that you can count on at Deer Creek is that the wind will blow in the afternoon.

Have done ok in the past fishing by the island from the bank but haven't tried it this year.

I have had good luck shore fishing at DC from the shore right next to the boat ramp at the state park. They usually hit nightcrawlers floating 18 inches or so off the bottom, but under a bobber also works. I have heard Rainbow Bay is doing well right now but I haven't fished there much so can't give you too much info on exact spots. That would actually probably be a lot of fun to take the munchkins, there's little picnic spots and it's a fun place to run around. It is a fee area, unless you have a state parks pass.

I generally go in the morning, early, but evening works too.

Good luck to you and the munchkins, hope they get to bring home some dinner! [Smile]
