definatly was thinking either trying it this weekend or next weekend for sure. the thing with the crappie there is that theres only like 2 weeks max when you can get em consistantly. also would love to get into some of the toad smallies out of there. also water levels are prime for crappie to hang in the brush. come on weather stay warm[sly].

thats wierd i always catch big bass there every year in the 3 to 4 pound range, but im not really bassfishing with jigs and lures, i found this one spot where anywhere on the shore you just drop a bobber with a whole nightcrawler about 4 feet and it can be alot of fun. usually caught by mistake fishing for slabs. but its true about it being fished out, if im right the limit is 6 bass any size. and ive seen guys catch big bass in the 4 pound range and instantly are strung up on the stringer[mad] that can make me mad but regs are regs and i think they should change it to one over 15 inches so that there are some bigger toads that can stay in there. but i guess its a trout lake persae and most people go there for trout offshore or trolling, but what can you do. hopefully there are some somewhat decent bass there this year. its just a cool lake since its close to SLC

I went up the other day fished for trout and then spotted a crawdad and caught the crawdad and rigged it up and sure enough I caught a Smallie on it. East Canyon is as full as I have ever seen it. If the water temp gets higher it may be the ticket.
