Been busy workin lately and have only had time to take a couple hours at boutiful pond here and there. Been pretty productive for me and seems to want me to catch alot of Cats this year... The carp action is intense right now. Very fun on a light rod. easy double digits in a night. Kept three for cutbait, Three carp, 32 pounds not too shabby!

If you want a carp on a fly right now may be a good time. Toss out a bread imitator and enjoy!

Aaaack - looks like we got us a Carp Lover here boyz! So they might be ugly, they might be slimy, they might be stinky - but they do put up some fun tugs! Those are some fatties.

A little fillet action, a nice spicy brine, and bring on the wood smoke! You'll be in like Flint!

So where's the cats?
You are sick in the head.....and I like that. [cool]

Getting close to white bassin time at UL. If you have a 2nd rod permit I have some things for that carp meat to do for you while you slay whitties. Big cats like carp meat!

Hell yea dude! I love catching carp, it's like hooking into a submarine. They are just all muscle and can fight for ages. Good times dude!

Catching some catfish out there too eh? I might just have to take a short trip up there myself. [Image: happy.gif]

I have been going crazy for carp as well, but on the fly and different location. You say 32 lbs? I have no scale, but which are the 32 lbers. I ask because, as I say, I have no scale and I have been langing 30+" carp and have no idea the weight.
Not doubting you, just had no idea they were that heavy

LOVE it ! I am a Carpohlic and not afraid to admit it.

So is that like being "Kookoo for Cocoa Puffs"?

I need to get a bigger scale to deal with them bugelmouths! I know Bama measured one just under 30"s (27?), and it weighed in at I think 12 pounds. I got one at 31" a bit later, so assumed it weighed - a bit more! Maybe 15.

Guess it depends on how FAT they are too. They DO have big bones - kinda like Cartman.[:p]

I trust you're all releasing those big mommas. Gotta give them a chance to breed, right? [crazy]

Oh I get the girth making a difference. That is why I asked which pictures were the 32 bers so I could maybe tell.
I have trouble lifting a 20 lb bag of dog food![Tongue]
Wrong picture at first , but this one was 29" long.
