I had a chance to go to Lake Powell for 10 days. Water temp was 61-65. I fished the San Juan and Rock Creek. We left out of Antelope point. Small mouth Bass were on the beds. Large Mouth Bass were done. We caught a lot of fish. A few Walleye and a few Crappie. We fished Maniac cutter bugs 3 1/2 inch from light green to dark green. 2 biggest fish were an 8 pound striper and a 5 pound Walleye. I never had anybody complain until this trip. They complained their back muscles were hurting from catching so many fish. It looks like the water level is gonna go down this year. At least what I could see is they are drawing the water out as fast as it is coming in. Had a couple of yummy fish fries while we were down there. A good time was had by all. Here is a few pics to enjoy.

Looks like a great trip. Nice fish! And holy cow! That bluegill is a THUG! Southern waters put on a good growing season me thinks!

Thanks for the post.
Sounds like another banner trip Glen.

We had a little different bag last Saturday at the other end of the lake. We got into the walleye and slab crappie with only a few smallies. We got most on deep diver Rapalas. We had a blast!

Great report & pics, Glen. Looks like Powell repaid ya' for the lousy ice fishing we had this winter. Looking forward to seeing you up at Starvy.

Good job Glen. Looks like a nice trip. But, how come I clicked on the stripper pic and only got to see a fish? I want to see those famous Lake Powell strippers, but all I ever see is fish!
And hey, what kind of boat are you running around in now?
