Me and some buddies want to hit bear river? The problem is none of us have ever fished there can anyone recommend some good spots for us? Or is it even worth it to try out there right now? Thanks in advance!

Always worth trying. But remember they call it 'fishing' not 'catching'....
floating or bank tangling? It's a big long river, but a lot of sections are behind private property. But there are a number of spots where you can get some good shore access.
Tell me more about where you're located or what stretch you might want to hit, and I might have some ideas.
Also - what kind of fish are you targeting?
Take the forest street exit and go until you find some no posted river spots. I would use shrimp or crawfish this time of year and later in the year use chicken liver or stink bait. Bring lots of hooks and sinkers, you get hung up a lot.

Thanks for the help. We are from Ogden and I'm not sure what stretch we would like to hit anywhere really... We are looking to catch either crappie or walleyes. Thanks for the tip on forrest street.
