I will be out by the green river in vernal/jensen area. any tips pointer etc would be greatly appreciated.

We have pulled out some catfish out of there inthe past. We went across the bridge and hung a right then hit the river just above where the trees start. It kind of depends how high the river is also.

How far are you willing to travel?

the family and i will be doing the dinosaur park and probably camping near the quarry.
as for the amount of travel, Im on vacation so its all about the adventure plan on hitting pelican lake on the way home sunday

Just a heads up. Pelican is already down about two feet and some of the shore fishing spots are alot smaller than usual. The fishing was great when I was out there a couple of weeks ago good sized bass and plenty of bluegill. If you are taking a tube then you will not have a problem.
