hey guys was wondering how willard has been doing for crappie this spring in the N marina. i know usually around this time people start picking up a few and i was wondering if its over already, still going on or it just wasnt that good this spring? any info would be sweet, thinkin about maybe this weekend.and if the crappie arent biting is ther a good chance to catch wipers off shore, ive never caught one and im itching for one since most reports i see are trolling for them. PM's are fine too>
thanks guys

Went out Monday after work and pulled in 7 Crappie, 8 Small mouth and 1 Walleye. It was me and a friend. I plan to take my son out tonight and get a few atleast. I was fishing Maribue under a bobber from the bank. You will have to adjust the leader to find the right depth but they are there.

best things for me have been a weighted bobber bout 4 - 5 ft below a white maribou 1/16- 1/32 oz jig scented with mikes glow shrimp scent... Cast as far as you can and slowly retrieve with jerks and pauses, you will catch all species with this set up. Last year about this time the n marina was awesome! good luck
