Strawberry - Hit the berry with.......guess who? The berry master (Duckdog1Us) and his son. We hit Vivian pond and we all got a dinky rainbow for the 30 mins that we spent there. Then we hit the mighty strawberry! We hit one spot for 30 mins and nada. We hit another spot and witrhin 10 mins I was holding my biggest trout to date....a 26 inch cutty!!!

Everyone broke the slot today and we even got some great rainbows too. We drove out to the ladders and took the pics there and tried our hands at fishing too. They out fished me numbers wise as I only got 10 at the berry today. But the size category was mine! There were TONS of 21.5 inchers caught today.

Yeah I still can catch dinky trout

Nice catch there bro....I would have beat you in the cutt category...however it was your rookie net skills that lost me that beautiful Bear Lake Cutt. Perhaps you did it on purpose so that you could hold the title of biggest cutt. Next time I am having CVFisher do the net job.

gosh i want to go with u guys to strawberry in the summer XD. I hope bear lake will be fun. I just hope i will catch a trout from shore lol but im sure ill slay the mud kitties, carps and mountain whites lol

We have got to get you on a river soon dude...hard to believe you hardly know how to fish a river...and you live so close to the almighty weber! The flows are too high right now, but there are plenty of other places to go. Just hope you have a pair of waders.... if not loosing gear to a tree gets expensive. Glad to hear your expirence of going under the knife with the surgen went all as planned....heal quickly dude.

No the blame is entirely on DuckDog for the big trout. CvFisher is the guy that clued me into the chars (lake trout). No special scents on the berry cutts.

I think it's just a matter of time before one of us get one thats truly giant. We have 3 over 30 so far but the 33 incher looked like a eel and weight 8.5 lbs the 31 inch fish im hold in my avatar it was the best of the 3.
Both of those where caught by my 2 youngest sons one 10 the other 11 years old. talk about being spoiled rotten

Hey, Duckdog1us! You got enough friends? I have been to the berry twice this year, and have caught the obligatory 1 slot fish once, and went 0-4 with a total noob I brought along the other.

Well done TDT! I love how the bigger ones get that big dark head on em sometimes.

It's both i don't tell anyone but a very very select few that i trust and most people on here wouldn't trust the twins but i do and they have not gave me any reason not to! you have to meet some one before you can judge them and im teaching them the berry so that must mean i think their ok
its a lot technique also i have sat side by side with my dad or kids and if they don't fish it right i'll catch 20 to 1 or2 that they get location is the third part if you don't fish where the big fish are you can not catch them but there is more slot buster cuts in the berry then what most would even believe
