Hola from neighboring Nuevo Mexico. Just moved out here from Albuquerque NM. Im gonna be workin with my uncle for the summer and when I am not working youll find me with my line in the water. Just really got into flyfishin this year and theres no turning back. I still love to throw huge swimbaits, jerkbaits, cranks you name it. Just got into backpacking and high mountain lake/stream fishin and i LOVE IT. Here are some pictures from 2012 thus far and a couple before the new year, all caught in NM,except kens lake brown. We like to call this "fish porn" on the fishing forum back home.

and i caught that out of a lake that has a reputation for being called the "dead sea" in NM

4lb and not an ounce over..Here is a nice one, its the one to beat out of our group of guys.I had the lead with a 4lber at Big Cypress reserve also on the fly.Franky got us,its the one to beat...

both are nice catches paulpro.anything like that on the fly is pure ecstasy.
gotta say tho, catching a bass that size in florida is a completely different story than catching a bass like that in nuevo mexico....
what wt fly rod were you using, frankys has gotta be a 7 or 8 wt, that thing is stout.caught mine on a 5 wt, 4x.
