Was there about two weeks ago. The place was deserted. Did manage to catch 5 bows in about 3 hours of trolling. 2 were about pound and a half. 3 were about three Quarters of a pound.

I caught a bunch of the planter trout.
I went back to Stone in the upper area this last week and got skunked. I didn't see any fish at all and the weeds in the upper part of the res are about a foot below the surface of the water.
There are also a couple of bulls in with the cows in that upper reservoir area, so be careful of them. They are a bit protective of their ladies!
While I was in the upper part of the reservoir, I could hear a couple of ski boats coming almost all of the way up. Once the ski boats start on there. it is hard to find anywhere to fish that you don't get run over. It is such a narrow reservoir there isn't much in the way of side bays to get out of the way.
