Nice <bass> Paul! I've never caught a P-bass, we don't have 'em up here in Nebraska. But, they look like fun!
I bought some floating worms the other day... I'm going to try your "worm-metl" trick to make a couple of "snakes" to try. <g> I don't have access to the bulk ones like you, so I got the Luck-E-Strike Floating Worm Kit.
The Kit comes in four colors: brown, pink, yellow, green. I'll glue/melt like colors (i.e. brown <->brown) to start with, but am wondering what the bass would think if 1/2 of the "snake" was brown and the other half was pink/yellow/green! <lol>

THE ORIGINAL bassmaster magazine put up a front cover shot of a high foating pink worm..
I've been hooked since then.
