We are looking for a place to camp on Father's day in southern Idaho. We are coming up from Ogden, UT and have to have a campground with electricity due to grandfathers oxygen machine. Would prefer somewhere on a lake to do some fishing. Can anyone offer up some thoughts?

There might be something over on Milner. If you want to come to Hagerman there is a couple of options. Sligers thousand springs, hot springs has great camping right on the river. And Miracle Hot springs. It is not on the river but is close. The Haerman WMA is close to both and fishing is always good there for trout, bass, and bluegills.

There is not much that I can think of that is on a lake. I don't know about electric hook ups on any of them for sure.
You might try Maple Grove Hot Springs Resort on Onieda Res., but I am not sure on the electricity.
There is Riverside RV and Hot Springs north of Preston on the river.
There are several KOAs and campgrounds around Lava.
There are a couple of guest ranches up above Bancroft. Kelley Toponce Ranch and one over by Chesterfield Res. I don't know the name. I don't know if they have camping areas also.
Then there is Downata Hot Spring which is near Downey, but not very close to any fishing.
You might have to do a bunch of phoning around.
Here is a site with some of the places and phone #s.

might try Lake Walcot by Rupert... State park, real nice and I think it has lots with hook ups

I forgot about Walcott having hookups. It and Thousand Springs area would be good bets for finding an RV hook up.

Walcott does have hook-ups, we meet family from Twin Falls there to camp once or twice a year. It would be a bonus if you are taking a boat as there isn't a ton of access to the shore to fish but there is some shoreline that is easy to get to.
