looks like i will be ending up at hyrum soon for a camping thing. i know NOTHING about this place except for the old posts i can find on search, most of which pertain to ice fishing or boating for trout. i see there are LMB in the lake and that intrigues me but i'm down to fish for anything.

anyway, i'll more than likely be shore bound or possibly in my tube. so, hows the shore fishing there and are there any spots that are better than others?

if you want to PM me thats cool, i'd appreciate at least a steer in the right direction.....

thanks fellas.

I have had a lot of good luck from shore there. We use powerbait when we are up there. I just found spots by casting out with power bait waiting 5-10 minutes and if I didnt get a bite I would just move to another spot.

thanks coyotespinner. thats a lot of good info. i'll be at the campsites. are there any good spots for bass around there? throwing spinners for trout/bass and cranks and senkos for bass and perhaps some wollybuggers if i bring the fly pole. im as uneducated a fly fisherman as there is so buggers all i have figured out.
