Tomorrow is my weekly fishing day. I'm debating on where to hit since it will be so hot. I would imagine most trout fisheries will be turned off due to the heat so I'm leaning towards more of warm water fishery.
Starvation is my first choice, but I have to wonder how bad the wind will be with the heat coming back. Weather forecasts out there are about 50% reliable. I thought about Pelican Lake, but I don't feel like driving 3 and a half hours. Utah Lake= not my favorite. [crazy]
I plan on making this an all day solo trip so driving from Sandy to anywhere roughly 2 hours away isn't out of the question. I just need to get away for a bit. I'll mostly be shore fishing, but I'll have my float tube in the trunk just in case.
Any suggestions? I'm open to anything. If not, I'll take my chances with good ol' Starvie [

(As a side note: I hit Rockport and East Canyon yesterday and got skunked hard so I don't think I'll be heading back there. I blame the wind [cool])
