If you want to see the big boys rolling, the caddis hatch is hot n heavy right now. May be worth your time to get up there. Prob get crap talking about it but I've seen it in a few places already.
Fished for a couple hours last night and had a killer night. True to form the fish were selective but the big guys were pounding caddis Flys. First time I've ever had fish take me into my backing on my 5wt and it happened 2 fish in a row. First was just over 25in and the 2nd was just shy of 23. Sorry no pics , I was fishing solo and wading so didn't want to try and chance loosing the phone/camera. Got 3 more to hand that were all over 16. And had a couple break me off as soon as they figured out they were hooked.
If you go do some site fishing and wade careful and you should be able to get into some decent fish right now. Be prepared for some frustration as always on the n. Fork. I had a couple of different big fish that I couldn't get to take a fly, would swirl on it but never take it.

Sounds like you had a great day. Thanks for the report. I made a trip up yesterday but didn't do as well. I did manage 3 trout 2 were smaller and one was 18ish. Glad to hear there are some big ones in there.
