We're planning a trip to the southeast region for bluegills and perch. The IDFG trip planner and reports on here make it easy enough to find them, but carp aren't a species choice on the planner and I have a brand new 8wt fly rod we want to try on carp. Do any of those reservoirs have bluegill and carp? I've never fished that area at all.

This will be our first trip in two years besides stopping by Carey Lake for 15 minutes on the way home from shopping once.

Most of the reservoirs you will find around the same areas you will be chasing bluegill have carp in them.

A few places to consider:
The Bear River
Alexander Res.
Blackfoot Res.
Oneida Res.
American Falls Res.
