As you all know, the Upper Salmon River chinook fishing season started at dawn a week ago today. So whazzup? Unfortunately, we've all become way too dependent on the internet and since the IDFG website has been down for days, no one knows WTF is going on.
For what it's worth, we did an article on our website about it. We also found this cool "retro" video (2008) about fishing the Upper Salmon near Yankee Fork.
We did do a lot of recon on Yankee Form and Sunbeam Village on our last trip up there and will post up a new thread when we get it all put together. I think that what you can see in the 2008 video really tells a story. Right now, I'd say that's the best hot spot place to fish. Maybe we're wrong but the video tells a story.
