Well played. We managed 4 of those ourselves on saturday.
It wasn't fast fishing for us but certainly was fun not knowing if the next fish was going to be a monstor Koke, a huge trout or a huge perch.
Yes, we caught a couple monster perch on the trolling gear as well.
For us, the fishing did not pick up until the afternoon winds arrived and put a little texture on the water.

We did best when it was flat as the pic show's, However when it was over cast and flat I was on a roll!! I had a double on twice all over 18".

SO the lady in that picture is 3 foot tall? Just kidding that is an amazing Koke. I am just stunned at that fish. I bet it was good eating. I am officially jealous. Ron

Wow that is a dandy! Congrats. I've never seen one that big. This is going to give Kodiak some major motivation. We had a slow day fishing up there on Saturday except for a really nice fat 21" coho caught by sdhuntandfish as well as a few decent perch. I must agree with Gene that the bite seems to turn on when there is a little chop on the water- especially when that first light morning breeze comes in.
