Hit the lower lower provo for an hour this morning and was able to catch a bunch of white bass. I caught about 18 of them. 12 were edible size and 6 were about 3" long. I released the little ones, hoping for them to become food for a walleye or LMB (or 4 lb whitie.)

It's going to take longer to filet them all than it did to catch them and I'm trying to figure out a way to cook them without heating the house up.

I had a 14"-ish walleye on right up to the shore, but it threw the hook. I also had a very aggressive follow from a LMB of significant size.

Pictures shortly. I'll photoshop out my ugly mug.

Strong work, Matt. I wonder if we're ever going to make it out on the water together?

I keep askin'![Wink]

I've got a great recipe for filleted fish. Let me know if you want it.

Lay some tin foil on the barbeque and poke some holes in it. Slap down the fish with your favorite seasonings and cook to perfection.

Kind of like smoking but much quicker.

I fry all fish and most meat now on an Electric fry pan out side my back door. No more smelling up the House.

Drop the fillets in a casserole in one layer, add a few pats of butter on top with lemon, pepper, salt, onion powder, or whatever you like. Toss it in the oven and broil it.

Broiling cooks it so fast, the oven is on and off in 6 min or so, and the texture is very nice on the top.
