Full Version: Let's see those fishing rigs!

I've seen this on other forums so I thought I'd start it here.

Let's see those fishing machines out there... Boats, pontoons, canoes, kayaks, ect. It's interesting also to get ideas on how other people rig various things on thier machines. It will also make it possible to meet others on the forum if we see these rigs on the lake!

Since mine got a bath today, I'll start. 2011 Alumacraft Competitor 175 with a 115 Yamaha 4-Stroke. I have a Lowrance HDS 7 on the dash and an HDS 5 on the bow (ethernet connected). Minnkota 70lb PowerDrive V2.

Thanks guys.

I actaully dream of a Ranger 621 with a 300 Vrod (Verado). Untill I win the lotto however, this one will have to do... lol.

Great idea - I'll get some pics up soon but I am the only dum @$$ trolling out of a bass boat hard to miss me.

Nothing wrong with that.

For years I fished out of 14' Lund with a 9.9 Mercury. I had to watch the wind but I caught lots of fish out of that rig.

I'm considering selling my current boat to go back to a tiller model. I love big tillers. For the past few years, I fished out of a 17' Alumacraft tiller, an all out awesome fishing machine! I sold it to get a more family friendly boat. I miss it.

Here is my last boat. Yep, I'm a big fan of Alumacraft.

I don't have my new sturgeon wagon yet. The pictures will have to wait on that one. Ron

She does her job, someday I would like one a bit bigger. Kids need more room [Smile]

Hope to see you out there!

Here's mine. This is not my ideal fishing rig, but it works well for me. I got it last summer, after selling my 1760 Lowe Roughneck. I miss being able to run the rivers, and it does act like a big wind sail, but it's nice having a bunch of room to comfortably fish multiple people.

Here's my 2007 Lund Alaskan 1800 SS with 75 Mercury 4 Stroke hanging on the transom & a Minn Kota Terrova I Pilot 24 volt 80# thrust on the bow & (2) Walker electric downriggers. I'm just running an older Lowrance X70A on the dash, but getting a HDS 8 is definetly on my wish list for the console along with the added structure scan. This boat doubles as my duck hunting rig on the Snake River come fall. It may not go as fast as some of my other boats I've had in the past but it sure has been a great dual purpose boat & meets most of my needs. [cool]

well I got this boat at the end of May and sold my other boat..... its a 1872 SeaArk CCTH, its a tunnel with shallow water pods on the back, its very wide, has a 72" bottom and 95" beam, great boat with livewell, has a Suzuki 140 jet on it that I don't like cuz its carbed instead of EFI, it has a MinnKota 101lbs thrust trolling motor on it with the long shaft, also a hummingbird 787 fish finder w/ GPS, it double's as my duck boat, here is a pic in the shop/barn....

I need a better pic of it actually on the water, but here is my meager little ride.

[inline tube.JPG]

I've since added another spot for a rod, plus a commercial rod holder in front of the home made holder, and a spot for a fish finder on the other side. I like the setup alright, but the tube is on it's last legs and I'm looking to replace it this year.

Actually no you are not the only one who trolls out of a bass boat......or are you making fun of me Smile

Here is my rig. One rigged for carp and one for muskie. Doesn't look much different going after trout or anything else. I generally only have the milk crate on later in the season. I have had more fun going after fish on this thing than anything else I have done. Have yet to land a Muskie on it but the season still has some time left and hopefully I will make a water with them in it again this year.
