We ran down the lake to a spot where Offshore had been catching em around dark recently. Had a little wind on it so it was tough feeling the bait fishing 20 ft deep. After about 15 mintues Offshore had one a little over 4 and we think "here we go". Then lightning gets close and we head for cover. After waiting it out for about 30 minutes, we go to another spot and I lose one on the 3rd cast. Go on a little further on our first pass and Offshore catches a 5.05 LM so we have 9.17 in 2 fish at about 9:15. It was over for us for keepers. The rest of the night consisted of short strikes, swing & misses, and short fish. Caught em on shakey heads on rocks and a deep ledge. If I had helped a little, we had a chance in this one. But I enjoyed fishing with my son as always and he keeps kickin my butt on the Chick. As usual, it was a well run tourney and thanks to those who take care of the little details.
