My wife and I went to Deep Creek to see some different scenery and thought we could catch a fish. I should have stayed home. Got to the reservoir about 9:00, not to early, but if the bite is on, early enough. I was met at the boat ramp by three dogs, that belonged to a camper that was camping just off the top of the ramp to the East where I have always parked my boat and trailer in the past. I got the boat in the water and parked my truck and trailer about twentyfive feet to the North of the guys trailer and went to go fishing. Almost got to the boat before the guy started yelling about where I had parked. I didn't think it was worth a fight so I went back and moved my truck and trailer up the hill. I told him he was camping in the truck and trailer parking and also reminded him of a leash law, after one of his dogs grabbed my hand. It didn't break the skin so I just went back to the boat and went to get skunked. My wife and I both had one bite in 3 hours and as we were leaving , it looked like the guy was trying to kill some snakes that were in the weeds and brush by his trailer.

One thing you will notice about deep creek is that it isnt the utahns that come un and got the place but its the people from malad. Every one ive ever ran into there that was a flat out jerk and hogging up the place and just being rude are from malad .

The truck the guy was driving did have Idaho plates.

I think you hit that nail on the head. That being said, I did have a run in with an awful group of Utahns there once. They had a whole hefty sack of nice trout that they carried out. I would have called on them, but my cell was back in the car, and I was already out in my tube. I still regret not going and getting my phone though. I hate greedy pigs like that.
