Maybe it was the fact that it was Friday the 13th, maybe it was the lighting which always scares the heck out of me. :o I am not sure but last night I was not feeling it. I told James I did not feel it and he told me to, &quot;SHUT UP!&quot; emoGoofy It started off pretty good, our better fish came before dark. I put the 4 pounder in the boat and James put the 3 pounder in. Our troubles were that third fish. emoAngry We could not seem to shake that third one. It was a two pounder that showed 2/4 on my scales. We almost threw that one back when I boated a 1/15 spot but I really thought we would cull both so we didn&#39;t. We would have got about $70.00 for that spot. emoBooHoo None were weighed in so it would have been Big Spot without any others. It might of pulled us out of sixth place so for the points it was probably better we did not keep it.<br /><br />We mostly stuck to the shakey heads and t-rigged worms. I did manage a small keeper on a blade. We had small bass syndrome last night. We must have boated seven keepers after dark that would go anywhere from 1/14 to 2/2. All cookie cutter small keepers. We spent an hour in the dead sea last night also. Better known as Wolftever. emoCrazy Went up in there right as the rain hit there. Got drenched and then it got hot and sticky. You just never know about that area. Sometimes they will bite up in there when they will not other places on the lake. Last night it was the opposite. Not a bite, not even a smell, no splashes, no nothing. Just slick water and dead. emoBadLanguage <br /><br />Try as I would the big bite on this one that I have been getting so lucky to have never came this time. I knew we would have one of those nights....everyone does sooner or later. Still considering the one 3 and one 4 we were not too upset. Got a little money for sixth place and got some good points. The two teams that we have been gunning for of Earl and Jerry, also Justfishen came in under us so we got a gain on them. emoThumbsup All our bass just like the last couple months were caught from 6 to about 18 foot.<br /><br />It is always good to get with you all. I enjoy the ragging, the fellowship, the sharing of information and lies. emoTongue Thanks to all the committee for another great tournament. Congrats to all who did well.
