SOCIAL CIRCLE, GA—The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is reminding anglers to take advantage of the great fishing opportunities available in portions of four trout streams managed under delayed harvest regulations: Amicalola and Smith creeks, and the Chattahoochee River and Chattooga rivers.
During the delayed harvest period, November 1 through May 14, the DNR conducts monthly stockings and anglers must obey catch-and-release regulations. This combination results in high catch rates.
