The construction will take place at the north end of the dam, adjacent to the existing boat ramp. The boat ramp will be closed during construction to accommodate construction activities.
To provide safe working conditions during construction, the sluice gates at the main spillway will be opened to lower the pond level by several feet. The gates will remain open and the pond level will remain below normal until construction is complete.
Construction is expected to take approximately four to six weeks.
