Is the S marina still closed during the weekdays?

yes, was closed last night, ranger said it would be a couple weeks before its open during the week again

no it is open,the dredge is going to work around everyone.talked to the state parks lady today,she said it will remain open yea,although i belive the catching is going to suck till next year.

[font "Calibri"]Seems like there’s conflicting reports. I talked to the guys that were work the dredge and they told me that a pump in their equipment was broken last week. Maybe that’s why it’s open closed, open closed. He did say that once they was up and running full time it would be a two week process just to get the channel finished. But he did say it would be open on the weekends for the power squad, how nice right? He also mentioned that there was talk about doing the entire S. marina which could delay opening ever longer. I wish they would do the whole marina. After they did the north it was safe launching even during the low water years. It would be nice to have the south accessible during low water times. Ya never know, might attract a few more fish in there...

to play it safe we launched in the north marina... What a zoo at dark:30. On a good note the water clarity seamed much better as of tuesday eve.

Update,,,, closed Wed night..... And the NM was slammed. I got the last parking spot...... Only coaxed one walleye into the cooler.
