Fished the Teton on 8/19 and was a little bit disappointed. I fished for about 4 hours and managed one ten inch brookie and a few missed hits. He looked healthy enough aside from his gill plates only covering half of his gills, leaving the back half of them exposed. Is this indicative of the fish that normally live here, or did I catch the sick one in the stream? I saw a LOT of fry and not much else. Has this been similar to other's experiences? It was a really smoky cool day, and that might have had some bearing on my success. Would have taken a picture, but my wife was upstream with the camera reading a book, and he looked like he needed all the water time he could get (she has a short attention span for fishing if its slow)
