We started off slow catching one keeper before dark and it was about 11 when Jeff hooked a good 4lber in deep weeds. About 1230 I got bit and hooked what I knew would be a keeper but thought it was deep in the grass I told Jeff to get the net just in case. The fish was staying down good and got under the boat and found out it was bigger than I thought :o Got it out from under the boat and into the net and it looked to be around 6 lbs. Little bit later I caught another solid keeper to cull our first and that was about all the time we had. Weighed in 12.36 I think and the big one was around 5.5lbs. Believe it or not we held down first and big fish until the very end and a guy had 13 something with a 7.45 big bass emoBang emoBang That kicker was a real game changer and was the little bit of difference in our weights. Had a slow night but got the few bites we needed and finished second place. Got our money back anyway emoThumbsup
