Well folks the Urban fishing scene in Miami is going very. As the days grow hotter so has the Peacock bass fishing. Ya gotta love this fishery, late starts and hot bites. Peacock bass fishing is not like other types of fishing. They really don't bite that well in low light conditions...early morning and evening. The higher the sun the better the bite, as far as I've concluded. Like I always tell my clients jokingly.."If we ain't sweating, they ain't bite'n." Anyways I went out this weekend with a good friend and client for 1/2 day of Urban fishing. The fish are still keyed in on the massvive hatch of minnows we had this year. Boy, I'll tell yous if you ain't matching the hatch..Your gonna have a long day. My friend had a real good day on the P's ,landing at least 20..we stoped counting. I also scored too. With one of the biggest Bass I've ever caught in Urban systems we have here. This girl was a beast! We only took a couple of pics of the day...Too busy catching fish..lol But here they are for yous to checkout. Thanks for reading our report.

Here are just some I've caught at night,nowere else will u find night fishing photos of Lukinani.
Leave it to Paulpro to show you something never seen before haha,hope you enjoy,jointed rapalas work well,small and med size,even large lures with rattles,see pics here in this old post..I'll work on a video now that I'm hooked on shooting with camcorder[]

Last pic was caught in Bogota Colombia in about 3000ft elevation,and its cold there!

Bass fishing during Moon Waxing phase
This is something I've actually been working on.
As for video, this is the latest I've got one of these but I plan on getting one even later at night.

You don't see videos fishing late for Peacock bass,so it could be interesting to see more videos of a this new and exciting phase for peacock bass fishing.

So ya can you believe theres no other guys in s.FL catching P-bass in the rain?
I just checked youtube and was surprised nobody has tried this?
Anyway check out my night fishing P-bass collection on youtube and the P-bass nightfishing which is also new to youtube,please share with your friends,I don't want to be the only one catching them in the rain or at night here in miami take care enjoy catching them P-bass.

We call them Pavon where I'm from and my buddy in Guyana calls them Lukanani which sounds cool

Hey you guys ever catch a speckled P-bass
I hear their rare to catch and that their population didn't really take off unlike the butterfly P's
Theres not many so its illegal to harvest them I read

If you have any pictures of a speckled P's I'd like to check them out!

So like I said I catch Largemouth bass at night also catch P-bass at night try it you can too,don't underestimate P-bass maybe after living with Large mouth they learned a thing or two wouldn't you say

I just want to get this info out there so my P-bass night fishing video wont be the only one on youtube..
And more guys can enjoy catching P's late,plus it sure beats fishing for them in the mid day heat,especially that sun its brutal,hope to see some catches from you in the future catching them in low light as well good luck.

So anyway not sure if you enjoy night fishing but heres a P catch from my 10' jon boat at night,now if I can catch one on my little boat I'm sure you can too plus you have big boat,picture below,[#005000][#bf0000]learn it love it
