Anyone hear if they had a spill in the river or something? Was up tonight on our standard tues night trip and every spot we stopped had dead fish in them. Most were 8-12 inches. One slow spot I counted 19 dead fish with in site on the bottom by me. Wonder if the f and g did surveys and had their shocked turned up too high......wouldn't be the first time its happened.

First I'd heard of it, hopefully it's not something major.

Jimmy's fly shop in Id falls, had a post on this, it said most of the fish are whitefish and they wanted people who came across the ones that were still alive to try and revive them, if not put them on ice (do not freeze) and take them to the Id F & G so they could see what's up!!! Hopefully its nothing to bad. I will be on the river for 3 days this weekend. Anyone know the fire restrictions for the canyon section???

I don't know what kind of calendar you have, but I want one that has three days on the weekend

Kind of a scary deal, I hope it isn't something that can jump into the trout and other fish that i am sure are munching on the dead/dieing whities.
